Monopoly SAL

A quick post before leaving for work. Here's a few pictures of what I've been working on lately. I started this piece on November 22, 2008 and this is the photo after my stitching on Dec 26.

This is where I was before I started stitching that night.

And here's a close up of the Community Chest block.

Please let me know what you think.

  8. Looking good, Debra! My SIL stitched this not once, but TWICE! On her first one, she left out a property, and didn't notice it until she had finished another full side and part of the 3rd side. Her LNS made her bring the piece in, and they ripped out everything back to the mistake for her. They told her that if she had to rip it, she'd never want to finish the piece. I thought that was so nice of them!

  9. Great job! This piece really looks just like the board, so I can see why so many people have done it! I would be happy with 3 blocks per day!

  12. Coming along great - I finished a whole monopoly board back in November - I gave it to my son for Christmas it is matted, framed, and covered with glass. He played on it on christmas day. It hangs in his room above his bed. You will love it when it is done.
