A Few More Completed Pieces

Here are a couple more pieces for my future quilt.

This is Kit #31 from Lizzie Kate entitles Big Girl Panties.

This is Kit #32 from Lizzie Kate entitled Normal.

This one is Waxing Moon Designs #147 - Frugal Samplings

This is also from Waxing Moon Designs; it is #ML06 called I'm Right - He's Wrong

This one is Waxing Moon Designs #067 - Everyone Brings Joy, but it isn't finished yet.  The chimney smoke and the picket fence aren't stitched and I'm not sure what thread color to use.  The design called for DMC 3865, but since this is stitched on white that one is out of the running.  What color(s) do you think would look best?

This piece was already stitched, but needed to be washed and pressed; now it's ready for framing.  It is #123 titled Country Seasons from The Prairie Schooler.

There's now 8 pieces stitched for my quilt and that many or more waiting to be stitched.  Obviously this is going to be larger than the lap-size quilt originally planned.  Who knows how large it's going to be by the time I get done stitching.

Can you guess which one is DH's favorite so far?

  1. They all look great. I especially like Joy to this house and the seasons. Which is funny, as I'm not usually a PS kind of person, lol.

  2. Some beautiful finishes there. I love the I'm Right one and have that in our kitchen opposite where my hubby sits for dinner just to remind him every night...lol.

  4. Beautiful stitching. I would try to find a light gray to do for the smoke and picket fence on Joy. Something light but just dark enough to be able to see it. I especially love the one about Normal is just a setting on the washer. Looking forward to seeing more of your beautiful finishes.
