I can't believe how far I've gotten in just one month; there's not much more to do on Earthdancer's dress, then on to the trees and then to the beadwork and specialty threads. I was thinking this would take about three months, but now it looks like she'll be finished within two months.
I have to start work on a new quilt top Tuesday morning. The plan is to sew during the day and cross stitch at night so there might not be much progress to show at the next update.
She's looking so pretty.

ReplyDeleteShe looks great, Debra.
ReplyDeleteYou are doing a great job.
ReplyDeleteI started this about 10 years ago!!!!! I have undone the dream catcher 3 times and still it doesnt lay flat. I will be really interested to see how yours comes out and any tips to make the long stitch lay flat and not sag. PLEASE post up how you do it!!
ReplyDeleteI find Marilyn's pattern doesn't tell you much.On one part there is a + and a very small lite + in the corner of one stitch. Can anyone tell me what that means? Also the dark lines around her hands and down the dress means what?Is this just backstitching with 2 threads in a certain color (which I don't know what color).HELP>
ReplyDeleteDid you get my reply?
